i started guy’s stuff here with the intention of chronicling my thoughts on the world of menswear and the fashion-verse. often i found myself bursting with emotion at the sight of some item or when flipping through the pages of the biannual L’ Officiel Homme.
having a site to express these emotions in words has been both therapeutic and exciting.
people often ask why i care so much about clothes and the truth is i wish i knew as well. i guess it’s like having a love for anything superbly personal. like art, literature and even gaming. all these aspects of culture serve as an extension and expression of who we are.
people have also asked what on earth retardationality means. it’s basically a childhood avatar that i’ve kinda stuck with all this while. it has meaning to me because i give it meaning. kind of like fashion, where your outfit is only as good as the idea or your intention.
